Roxane Roussel / Yves Arques
Inspired by the intense duo Jane Lee/Ran Blake, by Joni Mitchell's songs or even more classic composers such as Poulenc or Barber, Roxane Roussel and Yvers Arques built their own musical universe thanks to the piano/voice duo.
Their first album, Eclipse, explores some jazz standards, which are ideal for such an intimate tandem. Whether it is narrative or meditative, it is a music dedicated to words...
piano, electronics – composer, improviser
Yves ARQUES is a French musician and improvisor currently living in Germany. He is active within the jazz and experimental music scene of both countries.
